Unbeknownst to Mark on those business trips Michelle and her boss Jake got to know each other and over time fell in love with each other but only when Mark was Jessica when Mark was Mark in that reality Jake respected Michelle was in a relationship and didn't pursue her. It turns out this trip wasn't a business trip but a vacation that Jake surprised her with and she got an even bigger surprise when Jake asked Michelle to marry her she said yes. Later Jake asked if Michelle could introduce his younger brother to his little sister and "perhaps they could be man and maid of honor at our wedding".
I doubt if Jessica will be staying in too often. Alone? Unlikely.
